Ruth Serrano is a speech-language pathologist who is passionate about helping children communicate. Ruth believes that listening, building relationships, and supporting regulation are foundational to communication. She takes a neurodiversity-affirming approach and enjoys play-based therapy. Ruth values collaboration with caregivers and is an advocate for her clients.
She earned her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Western Ontario in 2023, where she gained experience supporting communication across the lifespan, from preschoolers to adults. She subsequently spent nearly three years working in the New Brunswick school system, supporting students from kindergarten to grade twelve.
In her free time, Ruth enjoys playing piano and violin, cross-country skiing, baking, and reading.
Ruth is based in the Annapolis Valley, Nova Scotia, and offers in-home, community-based, and virtual services.
